'LET IT BE' - QUARANTA ANYS DESPRÉS.

"Let It Be" és l'àlbum 12è i últim publicat per la banda de rock britànica "The Beatles". Va ser llançat al mercat el 8 de maig de 1970 pel segell de la banda poc després l'etiqueta Apple va anunciar la ruptura i separació del grup.

Les sessions d'enregistrament del disc (que per aquell temps es deia "Get Back", al·ludint al regrés a les arrels rockanroleres del grup) van començar a ser filmades, en 1969. pel cineasta Michael Lindsay-Hogg.

Encara puc recordar el dia que vam anar a veure, d'estrena, la pel·lícula "Let It Be", al cinema Aquitània de Barcelona (avui Filmoteca de la Generalitat de Catalunya). Un dia plujós que no va impedir que hi hagués gran expetació i llargues cues per a entrar-hi.
